There are still a few stories yet to place in the Moderator's queue! I do hope all stories will be ready. Your stories, if not already posted, need to be posted at here at the comm by 5PM Central Standard Time on Tuesday December 31, so that we can reveal them.

Just a reminder to all participants: You have until December 20 to let us know if you will need a pinch-hitter. If you fail to notify us in time you will not be allowed to participate in future exchanges. If you let us know ahead of time there is no problem. Your story needs to be in the queue by the morning of December 31st. For clarity's sake, we will say by 9AM Central Time (you can check here to see how your time zone compares. If you have a few last minute things to tweak and think you may be a few hours later, e-mail me and let me know. If you finish early, you can go ahead and post: the queue is locked.

We're going to screen comments here--you can post a comment with a progress report or let us know if you need a pinch-hitter.

For those of you who volunteered to pinch-hit, we will let you know as soon as we get notified if we might need you. Be aware that it is possible you may not have very long to write your story!

There will be Run-off votes for Honorable Mention in the Favorite Gapfiller and the Favorite Characterization of Aragorn categories, and a Re-vote in the Favorite Characterization of a Minor Canon Character:

(The timestamp on the website will be considered the date.) Also nominations have been extended until August 12. We will use the timestamp on your comment to determine when the story was nominated.
