Date: 2006-05-04 02:05 pm (UTC)How awful! For the local media to be having a countdown is dreadful, scaring people like that. Yes, they should have specials about what to do to prepare for hurricane season and lessons learnt from Katrina, but not do things which will traumatise the public even further. Our local media has not done that fortunately - yet.
