Well, Angmar is indeed quite sad. No, the leaves, unfortunately, are as dead as the tree - all in grey and black :-)

No, the map has been around for a long time. I drew the bumpouts in large size, then scanned them, shrunk them, printed and glued them, circled, drew lines, scanned again, added text, etc. Thank you for your kind words.

I only saw after looking for, like, the third time that the trees are all actually drawn around the same base. It was easy for that to escape my notice at first because they each have a very distinct personality. Elegant work.

I drew the trunk first, scanned in it and changed it for each tree printing it out on watercolor paper so that I could use the colors. It was a fun project :-)

Thanks, Larner. I just had to do a willow, one of my favorite trees and one that was pushed into immortality by the hobbits and Tom Bombadil. I'm amazed that I was able to pull off an art piece during B2ME at all - LOL.
