'It was Thrór's kingdom he invaded, but Smaug was an Ancient. He probably remembered the mountain when it was an anthill.
What a marvelous and sympathetic view of Smaug. Dragon's tears! This is a very creative and interesting story.
the things spoke of him like an old friend and brought him near to Frodo's full heart. He could almost hear Bilbo's gravelly voice, reciting the oft-repeated stories.
