I know I've often been struck by Frodo's first sight of Arwen, in Elrond's home the night of the Feast after he awakened. He seemed to see so clearly her nobility and wisdom, even though he still did not know who she was at the time.
And that Arwen is the first to discern the spiritual malaise that has overtaken Frodo, I think is very significant as well.
This makes me itch to go off and write more about Arwen. Thank you, it was such an interesting read.
