Poor Rosa! Alas--and she lied about her age to Hildigrim because she was so taken by him? Ah, dear--the tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive, as the old saw goes! Yes, indeed, the ties of family can become tangled at such times. I rather suspect neither she nor he as thinking all that clearly!

Now--at least they did go on, I believe, to have a happy marriage!
