Author's Notes: This is movie-verse due to the timeline regarding when the Fellowship left Rivendell. A very special “thank you” to my wonderful beta, Dreamflower, for all of her help in getting this story whipped into shape. I’ve found it is not always easy to incorporate our holidays into Middle-earth appropriate terms, but due to her wealth of knowledge Dreamflower was able to assist me in making this tale a great deal more believable!
