“You have a daughter, my lord,” the midwife tells me, her expression suggesting that I will be less than happy at the news. She could not be more mistaken.

I love Eldarion dearly and am proud of my son and heir, but to have a daughter is sheer delight. She will never want for her father’s love.

My daughter will grow up almost as fair as her mother and bear her mother's gentle grace. She will dance like a butterfly and sing like a nightingale.

But the greatest joy is that never will I have to watch her ride to war.

You have a point there--they do need to have Merry around soon, and then the others.

Ah, yes, self-inflicted fun projects *do* have a way of rather taking over one's life, don't they?

I'd love to see your other polymer!hobbits. And, definitely, Frodo and Pippin must be missing their cousin.

Well thanks to [livejournal.com profile] coneygoil, I *do* have pics of them posted in my LJ. I'll look out the links for you--I don't remember if I put them in my memories or not...

They are both adorable!! And Bag End looks great, too!

I think you should write fics, make polymer Merry (because I so badly want to see how he turns out) and do all other hobbity things you can think of.

Yes, I should do it all, shouldn't I? *grin*

You know how to make Pippin's scarf? I *love* that scarf! I wish I knew how to knit.

Knittings not all that hard to learn. Do you have a nearby Michael's Arts & Crafts? They are all supposed to offer knitting lessons. And the directions for the scarf are available online: http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Hobbit/Pippin/KnitScarf.htm

So even if you don't learn how, maybe you can coax someone you know to make it for you.

Wow, looks like I was the only one to go for the new dress *g* the logical reasoning being that the rest are all LOTR-related, and since I cannot possibly decide on which LOTR-related activity should be top priority, I settled for the non-LOTR one *grins proudly*

Well, I only got to do the fic, and I did work on a Merry, but my craft room was/is so topsy turvy that I couldn't really do the other things I wanted to. *sigh*
